Weekend in Zion

Just got back from a weekend in St. George and Zion. It was great to hike and climb and hang out with friends. Climbing was funny with Millie and Lena. It was fast paced with the babies and climbing, but well worth it.

Millie and trees

This weekend we were on family photo patrol. We did both sides of the whole family in one weekend. Millie loved being outside. She has two loves in her life ( not counting the amazing people in her life), ceiling fans, and trees.
This is her looking in amazement at the trees. Then followed by a big ol' smile for them.

The trees are so mesmerizing.

What a cute  kid!

Fall Fun

We took a nice little walk in Park City over the weekend.  The fall always makes me sad because I know summer has ended and the dreadful winter is about to begin, but I have to admit that the fall might just be the prettiest season.

Can you find Amelia?  She's just hangin' with her new friends.

I was very happy to find a random bathtub to sit in.  Amelia and I do love baths.

And of course, who doesn't love a family photo in a field.

My parents joined us for the walk.

Here's the man . . .

The legend . . . ED!

Millie loves kisses from Casey, can't you tell?  It's so easy to squish her chubby cheeks.  I'm pretty sure she's used to it though.

Link Your Blog and Help a Little Girl

Here is a message from a good freind of mine:

I am writing this post with some tears in my eyes. My friend Kylenehas a come up with such a great fundraiser to help out a family with a little girl that has cancer. I myself have not had my own children yet, but with the little one growing in my tummy right now I can't even imagine how it would feel to be told that your young child has cancer. I have many friends that are dealing with cancer, whether it be children, husbands, parents, mothers, fathers and on and on...and how they deal with it is such an inspiration to me. With this fundraiser that Kylene is proposing, an anonymous donor will donate $2 for every blog that puts a link to little Taylie's website and her fight against her cancer. How easy is that?!?!?

So here is the deal, I am going to put a link to little Taylie's website(here) so you can read all about her and the inspiration she is. Then I am going to put a link to my friend Kylene's website (here), so you can leave her a message to let her know that you linked them on your website so it can be counted in on the money for the fundraiser.

And not only will you be helping out with this fundraiser, but when all is said and done, your name will go into a drawing for a cutePrada purse. That is just icing on the cake, right?

And to all my friends that are dealing with cancer in some form or another, my prayers are with you. And as an update to how my own father is doing...He had another brain scan yesterday and all looks very well. We are so relieved and feel very blessed with this news.

Lady of many faces

This is my lame attempt at an edit. Really there are a  lot more, but all of these made me smile so I couldn't resist.
Tonight was great! Millie kicked, cooed and smiled all night. This really is the norm for her.

Saturday Outing with the ladies

On Saturday Millie really wanted to go climbing with her girl friends. So being good parents we took her up to Logan Canyon and let her climb a little.

Oh yeah! The four ladies kicken' it at the crag. Millie is trying to get the others to harmonize. It never happened.
