In Remembrance

When I heard yesterday that the Amber Alert for Hser Nay Moo was called off my stomach dropped.  We volunteered Monday night to help find her and I was so hopeful for a different, happier ending.  This really hit home for us because she lived just across the street.  We've just had to look out our window to see the whole thing unravel.  I went across the street tonight to pay my respects.  There was a letter posted from her teacher that made me cry when I read it.  She is the same age as the kids I teach.  I just don't understand how someone could do this.  It has been a sad day, but I know she is with her Heavenly Father.  I pray that her family will find peace.
If anyone is interested in donating to a trust fund set up for her family, you can go to Zion's Bank or mail a check or money order to:

Hey guys,
When I heard about this on the news and they said where she lived, I realized it was really close to your house. It's so sad--I went to bed sick about it on Tuesday. That's really neat that you volunteered. You two are awesome. Hopefully I will see you tonight at Tawnee's wedding!

I don't watch the news because I can't bear to hear stories like this. Zack was telling me about this story and it made me so sad I can't believe it was across the street from you!

We're so sad about Hser Nay Moo tragic death. Our prayers and thoughts are for her family Jason P.'s cousin was the fellow who did the Thai translation for the family as his Mom called him as soon as she heard about the missing girl . . . so he went there to help.
