New York List of things to do

I'm going to New York with Alisa and her family soon, and I'm trying to put together a list of things to do while we are there. Anybody have any input? We are only going to be in the city for 2 days, then off to upstate.

Here are the few things that have been suggested

Central Park
The Met
Rosa Mexicano is highly recommended
Max Brenners (Where have you been all my life)

Baptist Draw

Just got back from Baptist Draw with Alisa and some of her family. It was a pretty sweet 8 mile canyon in the middle of no where. Special thanks to Jared and Nanette for going a few weeks ago to check it out for us. It would have been crazy to find our way around without him! And even though Nanette couldn't go, we appreciated her weather insights.

Here are some images from that morning.

What a babe!

Ryland on the first rappel.

Second rappel

There was a ton of mud! It was kind of nasty, but it did stay pretty the whole way through.

Dried mud is much more fun than wet mud. In case you didn't know.
8 miles of this. It never really got old.

Great Weekend!

Hey all,
so we had a great weekend. Me and Alisa went up to the Uintas and had a great time hiking around. We did the Lofty Lake Loop and took pics the whole time. It was really pretty and really fun. Alisa is really cute and a lot of fun!

Music Help

Hey, I was wondering if anybody had any good suggestions for music for my site. I put a few songs on there but I want to know what songs you would put on. Any suggestions would be great! No country please.

Fringe

Casey and I just watched the Pilot for Fringe and I'm thinking it has potential.  Here's what I like about it:
  • J.J. Abrams helped create it (also created LOST which I am a huge fan of).  The opening scene takes place on a plane just like LOST, but I just don't think it can live up to it.
  • There are some really cool effects with words and fonts (I like the attention to detail)
  • Joshua Jackson is in it, and he did a really good job in my opinion.  Welcome back Pacey, we've missed you.
  • It was entertaining enough for me to want to see another episode.
Did anyone else see it? What did you think?

A few more from Maple

Here is another shot from Maple. This is the forever long 12c that we did a bunch at the end of the day. Everyone styled it like a champ. Good times!

Here is another pic from a premium breakfast that morning. Prepared by the Duncan household.

blast from the past

Okay, I totally stole this from my friend Paige but I couldn't resist.
This is a photo of Casey and I oh so long ago:
Isn't he a hunk!

Yeah that's right, this is me.

Here are a few more pictures of Casey throughout the years:

I stuck by Casey through his not so thin years. I'm so accepting.

This is what I look like before I go to school every morning.  Appropriate isn't it?

I had quite the hair and apparently neck back then.
I really liked seeing how we would have looked in the 50s and 60s.  I think we would have fit in nicely.  Thanks Paige, we had fun with this.

Weekend in Maple

Ok, I just had an amazing weekend in Maple with some peeps. It was Mike D's b-day and a good friend Masumi drove up from New Mexico. Also there were several other people there that were really great to be around. Here are a few pics, I'll put up more later.
